Somewhere far away

This is my son, William. He is showing off the Bausch & Lomb binoculars we gave him for Christmas a few years ago! They were for bird watching. Well I guess he is bird watching, I just don't see the birds.

 Dimpled trout lily (Erythronium umbilicatum)
 Miccosukee gooseberry (a federally threatened species), there is another population growing in Jefferson County, Florida. Amazing that the only two populations are so far apart.
